  1. What’s you’re opinion on zoos? Good? Bad? Both? I found that most zoos do more harm than good.
At some zoos the animals there are neglected just to motivate them. I found an article that said: When Dunda, an African elephant, was transferred from the San Diego Zoo to the San Diego Wild Animal Park, she was chained, pulled to the ground, and beaten with ax handles for two days! All this happened just to motivate this animal.
Yes, I do agree that zoos do some good to the animals. They even help us some too. They keep animals that are endangered there to help re-populate them. They teach us about the animals.
They have animals there to show you what it’s like for them in their natural habitat. The habitat they have set up for the animal may look like their habitat but to the animal it’s not. A lot of the animals don’t have space to exercise. To us it looks like a lot of space but to the animal it’s just a small cage. I found that a lot of the animals would live in herds, but in the zoos they are kept alone if lucky with a partner.
According to the blog writers of “Keep it wild”, elephants do better in the wild then the zoos.("Keep it wild," 2010) Elephants life span is 50-70years in the wild. In the zoos their life span is 16-18years. Sometimes elephants develop foot infections, rheumatoid arthritis, and depression. The depression can be caused by lack of motivation and socializing. Most elephants are kept alone when held in a zoo when in the wild they would be around tons of other elephants. Elephants are very social animals especially female elephants. Foot infections can be caused by lack of exercise overweight bodies, and possibly the floor. These foot infections are the leading cause of death for captive elephants. The rheumatoid arthritis is caused by lack of exercise, being overweight and possibly the floor. This is all just from lack of movement and socializing.
Most animals that have been in the zoo for so long forget how they lived in the wild. They rely on being fed every so often. They don’t have any predators. It’s the same way if the animal is born there. Animals born there don’t know what its like in the wild. They really don’t know anything about the wild. If an animal that was born in the zoo goes to live in the wild they won’t last long. One day without eating and they’ll feel starved. This is because they rely on being fed everyday. Or when they’re out in the wild and they’re being attacked, they don’t know how to defend themselves because they were never taught and they never had to worry about it.
So what do you think now? Are zoos good? Or bad?

  2. Going Green & Saving the World.

The world is disintegrating. No doubt about it. Do you have any appreciation for the world you inhabit? Do you have any true feelings for the Earth? The pure water made for quenching thirsts, the ground that stands better than we do. Of course, the world has its faults, but human beings are the cause. Humans should take more consideration into saving the Earth. Mother Earth.
Humans pollute water, air, ground, and practically everything around us that we touch. We cut down trees which is our air supply. We cause more dumps, wastes, and unneeded things that this world doesn’t need. The world doesn’t deserve this, treat people/things the way you want to be treated. How would you feel, if there was trash thrown onto you, the air you so willingly provided for life was poisoned, and creatures you expected to take care of you, actually destroyed you. A quote I retrieved from an unknown poet, “Human is the worst mistake nature made.” I have to agree. Not only have we caused animals to become extinct, but we are causing our own extinction.
Then there are the opposers whom find it irrelevant to save the planet. They find it a waste of time, and are ‘too lazy’, to take their time and ride bicycles, use cheaper and more efficient lightbulbs, lower down on water you use, and use solar power instead of gas and electricity. The people that are ‘too lazy’, really don’t understand the future we will face. We are the people, the generation, making a world for the next.
The world needs better improvement, because before us, the world was a wonderful utopia. Now since we’ve evolved and created what we had today, the world is in jeopardy. And, eventually the world will end, but not in our time. The war at the moment is destroying us too, and I know there isn’t much to prevent it. But, we can try to improve it, by changing what we do have power over, to something better. Its not a dream, it can come to life. If we just try try try, using materials that are energy efficient, earth friendly, and using some simple going green strategies. Nothing is complicated unless you make it that way.
We can save the world, we have the technology! We have the advanced minds to comprehend the consequences we have caused! Please, listen to me! We are practically destroying ourselves! From a beautiful awe-inspiring movie to a Hollywood horror scene. And let me tell you, the horror has just begun.

  3. Michael Jordan Best all time!
When I was surfing the web I was looking at Michael Jordan because I believe that he is the best player all time. Michael Jordan is a star in the NBA. Jordan had won 5 MVP’s and he had to work for that, very hard. Michael Jordan has won 6 Titles and he did lead his team there averaging 37.1 points per game on the way to the championship. He is a 9 time All NBA defense player in a row. Jordan was in the All star game 14 times and won MVP 4 times in the All star game.
Michael Jordan has shot over 50.0 percent shooting in his career which is very good for over the course of the seasons. When it has been in the clutch moments Jordan has been there for his team he has the clutched the game 22 times in his career. When ever Michael had the ball in his hands he would most likely score for his team and thats how they won most of the time. If the ball wasn’t in Michael Jordan’s hands then it was in Scottie Pippen and if he missed the shot then Dennis Rodman would rebound and then put it back up and score.
Now the scoring part brings me to my next point. Michael Jordan was the 3rd all time scoring he had 32,292 points in his whole career that is very good for a player. Michael Jordan is definitely the person that the bulls wanted to have the ball on the last seconds of the game. When Michael Jordan wanted the ball he got the ball because he was the main person that wanted to score and win games. Michael Jordan was not the guy that would pass the ball with the game on the line. Jordan only had 5,633 assist thats not a lot because he played 15 seasons I think that he should over had a lot more than he did.
Michael Jordan is also a great rebounder. There is a offensive rebound and a defensive rebound he had 1,668 offensive and 5,004 defensive rebounds that is good and he would mostly would come back on the other end and score 2 points. Michael Jordan isn’t on the 1-50 list for rebounds but he had to go up to get the rebounds against Shaq, Shaw Kemp, Ben Wallace, Wilt Chamberlain, and lots more.Michael had to be a shooting guard so when he put up a shot he didn’t usually follow his shot so he didn’t get a lot of rebounds. Michael Jordan would mostly get defense rebounds because he was good at getting up high enough to get them over his teammates and the offense centers and power forwards.
Michael Jordan had a little temper problem. When ever there was a bad call on him he would always argue with the ref and would make a big deal of it. For example he would yell at his teammates when they would make a bad play Michael would get angry at them and tell them to pass him the ball when they would be doing bad. Michael Jordan in a book they said that Michael punched his teammate in the face because he did a good screen on Michael Jordan and he didn’t set good screens in a game so he got angry and he punched his teammate.
Michael Jordan is better than Lebron James. I know this because Lebron is had only played 8 seasons but they compared the first 8 seasons and Michael Jordan had 2 titles Lebron had 0 titles and Michael Jordan averaged 30.6 points per game. Lebron averaged 27.5 points per games Michael had more rings and Lebron still has 0 rings and Michael Jordan finished his career with 6 titles with his team the bulls. Michael Jordan averaged more points more steals more rebounds and assist right now. Michael Jordan is also better than Lebron because Michael is more efficiency rating in points than Lebron James. Michael Jordan has come in first for efficiency rating for points 7 times that is very good for the talent that he went up against. Lebron has won efficiency rating in points four times.
